Features: Part of the Sony LISSA system. The MDS-LSA1 itself does not have standard inputs/outputs... the hook-up between the system's receiver, CD player and MiniDisc deck is purely by i-Link, carrying both audio signals in digital form and all the control data. ATRAC DSP Type R and ATRAC3 Audio Encoding, MDLP compatible, optional PC-iLink (Firewire) connection kit for control via PC and the copying of ATRAC3 file to MD (kit also gives unit digitial and coax connectinons), Scale Factor Edit, Pitch Control, 4x High Speed Dubbing (when used with the CDP-LSA1), 30 Second Time Machine Recording.
