Mini-Disc Video Player M046
A prop made ‘mini-disc player’ used in the 2009 sci-fi film Moon directed by Duncan Jones. The gadget is actually a digital alarm clock which has a mini-disc case attached to the side with a disc inside to make it look like a mini-disc player. It can be seen during the two Sam's argument as 'Walking on Sunshine' plays over the top. Measures 8cm x 7.5cm (3.25” x 3”)
This item comes complete with a special Moon C.O.A which is signed by Duncan Jones (Director), Stuart Fenegan (Producer) & Stephen Lane (CEO Prop Store)
 | | 12 Oct: | Tascam releases new MiniDisc deck MD-02/MD-02B Hi folks,
while other manufacturers including Sony have omitted the MD, Tascam has just announced to release a new professional MiniDisc deck called MD-02/MD-02B.

Tascam U.S. press release
Tascam U.S. product page
Tascam's German product page
In Europe, Tascam offers a basic version MD-02 without XLR connectors besides the MD-02B, while the U.S. page shows only the fully equipped MD-02B. MSRP in Europe is EUR 549 for the MD-02 and EUR 599 for the MD-02B.
The decks can already be ordered at some European e-tailers. | | 21 Aug: | Updated: Minidisc Community Forums And ATRACLife Moving To Sony Insider Greetings. I am very excited to announce today that all of the data (posts, topics, etc), members, and so forth from Minidisc Community Forums and its once-existing sister site ATRACLife will be converged into the Sony Insider forums. I feel that this is the best way to unify all of this important data and bring a fresh appearance (and new software) to our existing users. The forums.minidisc.org domain will forward to this new domain before the end of 2009. I understand that this is a big change, but it will be worth it moving forward. Thanks for your continued support. Thanks kindly to Jan Sundström for pointing them out. (Any other gear we're missing?) | | 26 May: | MZ-RH1 Service manual Mr. Fussy kindly points out the MZ-RH1 service manual | | 24 May: | Dozens of Sony service manuals added It's time to open the archives. We've found dozens of previously un-posted Sony service manuals and have added them to the Equipment Browser (entries in red have had a service manual added to them). We are also now allowing directory indexing on all our manuals directories. Better late than never.
