PC based titling, control and digital audio transfer from PC to MD possible with Optional PCLK-MN10 connecting kit. Keyboard titling via PS/2 keyboard connector. Optional Sony "KB-10" keyboard (¥6000) available separately. Remote control provides titling using the same character entry method as a typical portable phone (multiple button presses to select one of 3 characters).

Variants: CMT-PX7 model (¥124,000) features 3CD/3MD changer (allowing 3CDs to be recorded with a single button press), more power (50W x 2), FL Dot Chinese character (Kanji) display, and aluminum front panel with motorized fold down control panel. CMT-PX5LTD model (¥80,000) has higher quality analog components (e.g. transformer) achieving 54W (27Wx2?), carbon black finish, and twin dial controls for easier MD editing operations.
