This microphone is based on the well known Audio Technica Pro 35X microphone series. This microphone offers excellent sound quality and flexible performance unmatched in it's price range.

Each microphone capsule is mounted on a flexible gooseneck that can be positioned in any direction. A 4.5' long flexible shielded cable connects the microphone to the power supply. The gooseneck is attached to a strong clip which connects solidly to your musical instrument. The jaws of the clip are covered with soft rubber which will protect whatever they are attached to.

Included with the microphone is a separate power module. It is smaller than a pack of cigarettes (1" X 2" X3") and has a removable belt clip. The system utilizes a standard 9 volt battery (included) which will last approximately 600 hours. The power module also has a built in volume control and power switch that gives the user the ability to adjust the volume of his or her instrument without going back to the sound board or recorder. The sound from the microphone can also be shut off completely without any popping noise by using the integral power switch. The output from the power module is a female 1/4" phone jack.

Optional heavy duty, high quality microphone cables are also available here. They are manufactured by Audio Technica and use Neutrik connectors.

The Sound Professionals Cardioid microphone systems are sold with a one year manufacturers parts and labor limited warranty on the microphone capsules and their cables, and a two year parts and labor limited warranty on all other components. If a Sound Professionals microphone system component ever requires repair, ship it back to us postage paid with a description of the problem. We will repair or replace it and ship it back to you within 48 hours. No consequential damages, excessive wear and tear, abuse, etc. are covered by this warranty.
